Pearl 82

Pearl Yachts will be unveiling its new 82 at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale boat show. The builder is calling her “the most compact superyacht on the market” and there must be something to that claim because the space-age five en-suite stateroom interior just won the “Best Layout” award in the 78 to 98 foot category at Cannes’ 2024 World Yacht Trophies.

We’re intrigued by this yacht’s raised pilothouse, huge forepeak terrace, and garage the builder is saying will hold a 395 tender and a jet ski. Her upper layout is a bit unconventional, with an asymmetrical starboard side passage connecting the bow to the flybridge. With a pair of 2,000 horsepower MAN V12’s, the builder is promising a top speed north of 32 knots and a 10-knot cruise range above 700 nautical miles. We reckon she’ll draw considerable attention at FLIBS—and you can check her out at Hall of Fame Dock F622.
