Big Thunder Marine In Motion From Babies To Boat Show
Last Friday evening’s “Boats N Babies” dinner-social fundraiser at the Big Thunder Marine Speed and Luxury Showroom in Lake Ozark., Mo., raised more than $40,000 for The Changing Table, a local nonprofit organization that supplies diapers and more to impoverished clients. The director of The Changing Table, Laura Atkinson described the second-year event as her group’s most successful fundraiser so far.

“That support will directly help us provide thousands of diapers and period products to families in Mid-Missouri,” she said. “We’re thrilled.”
To date, The Changing Table has distributed more than 1.3 million diapers in the rural areas it serves.
“The community’s response was overwhelming,” said Sage Rush, the marketing coordinator for Big Thunder Marine, in reference to the Friday night affair. “We are incredibly grateful for the support.”
Big Thunder Marine will have a broad cross-section of models from the many brands it offers available for demos.
Next up for Big Thunder Marine is its Spring In-Water Boat Show, April 25-27, at Ozark Yacht Club. In-water demos in models spanning the dealership’s broad product line will be available on all three days, as will complimentary food and beverages. There is no admission fee.
“This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone—from seasoned boaters to first-time buyers,” Rush said.
