Boyne Thunder Poker Run Auction Item Locked In For Speed On The Water Key West Bash

Year and year out, the Boyne Thunder Poker Run in Northern Michigan is the hottest ticket in the go-fast boating event world. Sponsor registration sold out last year in 10 days. General registration sold out in a couple of hours. That’s just what happens when limited supply—the event is capped at 120 boats—collides with voracious demand.

Want to make sure you have a place in the 2025 Boyne Thunder happening set for July 11-12 before sponsor and general registration even open? Come to the 11th annual Speed On The Water Key West Bash, presented this time around by Parallel Project, on November 7 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Pickles Pub’s Sandbar on Greene Street. Thanks to organizer Ingrid Day, we have a Gold Sponsor slot, which includes a slip, six wristbands, breakfast for two at Café Sante and four drinks and a bottle of the spirit of your choice from Muskrat Distilling, to auction.

Proceeds from the auction go to Samuel’s House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Key West-based shelter for women and intact families. Boyne Thunder also raises money for worthy causes, the Challenge Mountain and Camp Quality-Michigan organizations for children.

Bid high enough and you can have the 22nd annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run locked into your 2025 event schedule early next month. And when registration opens, first for sponsors and later for general participants, you can exhale and skip it.
