Pathfinder reinvents one of the most popular bay boats of all time—the beloved 2200 TRS. How did the company designers pull it off? For one, they added interior space for even more room. It’s 4 inches longer and sports a 1-inch taller gunwale for more freeboard than the previous version. That enabled a bigger aft deck space—23 inches from the leaning post to the aft deck versus 16 inches in the predecessor model. At the same time, Pathfinder added an aft bench for two on the centerline with a flip-up backrest (the same as on the 2400 TRS). There’s also greater walk-though space between the forward console and the rod lockers. Speaking of which, the forward rod lockers are now wider, and that provides room for wider forward cushions for more comfortable bow seating. The 2200 TRS features a flat transom with sponsons that allows for mounting dual Power-Poles on the jack plate while keeping the telescoping swim ladder. Under it all, a new hull design improves performance, ride and efficiency and adds 10 gallons of fuel capacity to extend your range.
