Hartmann And Uzzolina Reuniting In Relentless/Laticrete Mod-V Raceboat For Key West Worlds – Speed on the Water
Well-known in the Mod V-class ranks of offshore powerboat racing, the Eastern seaboard-based, Nobody’s Business team cockpit duo of Chris Uzzolina and Rob Hartmann went in different directions this season. Uzzolina sold the boat and went to work on his Extreme V-class Skater project that should be ready for the 2024 season, while Hartman joined owner/driver Travis Petko in the Relentless raceboat for the season and brought his LATICRETE sponsor with him. And Petko and Hartman finished a solid fourth-place overall in national standings for the season in Mod V, which is among the sport’s most competitive classes.

But Hartmann and Uzzolina are reuniting for the Race World Offshore World Championships, November 5-12 in Key West, Fla., in the Relentless V-bottom as Petko has a schedule conflict.
“I’m feeling good about getting back in the cockpit with Rob,” he said. “It will be a little different not having the responsibility of setup and being an owner. Charlie McCarthy of the Punisher team is handing setup, so no worries there, and I am bringing my support team.”
Though he’s been mostly away from the Mod V class this season, Uzzolina still has logged time on the racecourse. In early September at the St. Pete Grand Prix , he ran with Pete Riviero in the Stock V class and with Rob O’Connell in the Bracket 500 class. Uzzolina will team up with Riviero again for the Offshore Powerboat Association World Championships, November 16-19 in Englewood Beach, Fla.
“I really want to thank Travis for the opportunity to run with Rob again in Key West,” said Uzzolina. “Rob and I finished second overall there last year, so we’re hoping to win it this time for Travis and everyone else involved with the Relentless team.”
