First Performance Boat Center Open House And Boat Show Set For Early April
As a full-service dealer for MTI, Performance Powerboats and Sunsation Boats, Osage Beach, Mo.-headquartered Performance Boat Center has slew of new and-pre-owned models to display on any given day. So a spring open-house and boat show at the dealership at the Lake of the Ozarks makes perfect sense, and the inaugural Performance Boat Center Open House is set for Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We go to boat shows every year from Miami to Fort Lauderdale, as well as five or six local shows, and just getting around and knowing where to be for what can be challenging for show-goers and exhibitors,” explained Brett Manire, who co-owns Performance Boat Center with Mark Waddington. “We have the baddest facility in the world right here in Osage Beach, and Mark and I have talked about it for years. So we finally said, ‘Let’s do it.’”
A two-day celebration complete with food and adult beverages, the event will include demo rides on models from all three brands. Representatives from the MTI, Sunsation and Performance Powerboats factories—Performance Powerboats is, after all, a Performance Boat Center brand—will be there both days to answer questions. So, too, will the dealership’s pontoon-boat manufacturing partners.
Manire said the dealership also will be offering demo rides on some of its brokerage boats from the likes of DCB Performance Marine, Cigarette Racing Team, Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats and more.

In addition to the demos, Manire, Rusty Williams, Myrick Coil and their team will offer tours of the entire facility, including the rigging and paint departments, for interested guests. Attendees can arrive by water—thanks to Performance Boat Center’s extensive dockage—or land. The adjacent Redhead Lakeside Grill will have live music both days, and the restaurant is working on food-and-drink specials that will be offered during the event.
Said Manire, “We’re really excited. It’s going to be a kick-ass deal.”
