Bago Big Bet ‘Up The Ante’ Welcome Bash Set For Next Week
In any given go-fasting boat season already packed with long-established events, launching a new event takes extra effort. Having even the biggest-name title sponsor in the high-performance marine industry doesn’t guarantee success. It takes extra push.
That’s why the upcoming Bago Big Bet Poker Run presented by Mercury Racing is getting on jump on things. Though the inaugural June 20-23 happening in Oshkosh, Wis., is still a couple of months off, its “Up The Ante” kick-off party is set for April 20 at the Fox River Brewing Company in downtown Oshkosh.

The pre-event celebration is open to public.
“This kick-off bash is going to be the event of the spring,” said Shannon Higgins, the organizer of the Bago Big Bet. “I’ll be there to answer all of your questions and maybe even run a registration special.
“I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Mercury Racing and so many other amazing sponsors and partners to bring this event to Oshkosh in June,” she added. “It’s so great to be back in the powerboat event-organizing game after a two-year hiatus. I’m looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and making new friends and memories.”

The venue for next week’s Up The Ante party, the Fox River Brewing Company will be the scene for a couple of events during the Bago Big Bet happening.
