B.A.S.S. Announces High-Powered 2025 Elite Series Field
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The 2025 B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Elite Series is poised for another thrilling season following a record-breaking 2024 campaign that showcased dramatic finishes, skyrocketing attendance, and record-setting weights. With the field of 104 anglers officially confirmed, fans can anticipate an exhilarating mix of fresh talent and seasoned veterans battling it out for the coveted trophies and the prestigious Progressive Insurance Bassmaster Angler of the Year title.
The Elite Roster
The lineup features seven former Bassmaster Classic champions and eight former Angler of the Year titleholders, all vying for glory in one of bass fishing’s most competitive circuits. New to the series are nine rookies, led by Easton Fothergill, who dominated the 2024 Elite Qualifiers points race. Other standout rookies include Cody Meyer, Tucker Smith, Dakota Ebare, and Emil Wagner.
Fans will also welcome the return of legends Randy Howell and Cliff Pace, each boasting career earnings exceeding $1.5 million and Classic victories in 2014 and 2013, respectively.
Competition Format
Each event will see the full field of 104 anglers compete over the first two days, with the top 50 advancing to the semifinals and the top 10 battling it out on the final day. The winner takes home the title and a $100,000 first-place prize.
2025 Bassmaster Elite Series Schedule
The season kicks off at the St. Johns River in Florida, with anglers traveling through six other states before concluding the circuit. Along the way, they’ll compete for points, titles, and a chance to qualify for the 2026 Bassmaster Classic.
