Super Cat Fest West Returning In Late April
Launched in 2022 by Alvin Heathman—the founder of the annual Super Cat Fest event that runs concurrently in late August with the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in Central Missouri—Super Cat Fest West powered by River Dave’s Place returns to Lake Havasu City, Ariz., April 26-29. The Kicker Marine audio-sponsored event will be headquartered at the Havasu Riviera Marina in Lake Havasu City.

Here’s a quick look at the schedule for event, which for the second year is backed by the powerhouse Oklahoma-based stereo company.
• Wednesday, April 26, 7-10 p.m.—Move-in and Welcome Party sponsored by West Coast Drives.
• Thursday, April 27, 2 -10 p.m.—Street Show/Super Cat Fest Village.
• Friday, April 28—Fun Run (1 p.m.), Dock Party at Havasu Riviera (4-10 p.m.)
• Saturday, April 29—Fun Run (1 p.m.) all-day Dock Party at Havasu followed by Closing Party at Horizon Motorsports.
Last year’s happening attracted a strong mix of custom-built creations from DCB Performance Boats, Eliminator Boats, MTI, Mystic Powerboats, Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats, Skater Powerboats and more. The event follows the annual Desert Storm Poker Run, which will run April 19-22.
Founded by Dave Johnson, River Dave’s Place in Lake Havasu City is a popular high-performance powerboating website and forum community. Johnson and his crew have been “boots on the ground” for the event, which Heathman originally produced in collaboration with Speedboat magazine and Jokers Wild Productions. Both entities are no longer associated with the event.
