Spearpoint Performance Hooks Introduces the Kicker Bag Weigh-in Bag
Visalia, Calif. – July 10, 2020 – While known for their revolutionary VGrip® Technology, Spearpoint Performance Hooks, a Visalia, Calif. based manufacturer, has also made offerings in the apparel and accessories marketplace. For ICAST 2022, Spearpoint introduces a conservation minded product that will help anglers keep their largest fish healthy and alive at weigh-in time with their new Kicker Bag.
One thing that any bass angler would agree with is that the bass is our most precious resource, and the most prized members of that population are the largest ones that make for bragging rights, great pictures and bigger paydays at tournaments.
In some areas of the country, anglers fishing tournaments are required to separate them in their own weigh-in bags for their own health and safety. Point in fact, the State of California requires each fish over five pounds to be in their own individual bags.
Last year, Spearpoint released their TOUGH Bag Tournament Weigh Bag, a 23×24-inch woven, dual layer weigh-in bag with a waterproof liner that still retains breathability. The bag features a zipper with padded carry handles, along with a shoulder strap to aid in carrying heavy creels and for reducing the occurrence of anglers setting their fish on hot grounds during transport to the scales.
For ICAST 2022, Spearpoint is releasing the Kicker Bag, a shorter version of the Spearpoint Tough Bag that also features a mesh liner to reduce handling of large bass. The Kicker Bag will help anglers separate their biggest fish to help keep them healthy, but also gives them the added appeal of having their competitors know that they are bringing a “biggun” to the scales.
