Sneak Peek—Statement 44 GTrs Center Console No. 2

When it comes to showcasing new models in front of a large, targeted audience, the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run is performance-boating’s biggest stage. Marine industry veteran Randy Sweers knows this well. That’s why it was so important to him to have first Statement Marine 44 GTrs center console he produced in Brazil in collaboration with Statement’s Nick Buis, in the Key West event last month.

And the dark-hued, 44-foot beauty might just have stolen the show.

Five Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines will power the second Statement 44 GTrs center console.

Soon Sweers will have another 44-footer to debut, and it could be ready in time for the club’s 2025 Miami Boat Show Poker Run in mid-February—yet another fine opportunity to put a new build in front of the right eyeballs.

Unlike it’s blue-and-black sibling, it’s being dressed in warm colors. The second center console also won’t be equipped with four Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines. It will be equipped with five of those potent V-8s.

“Actually, the next two builds will both be powered by quint Mercury Racing 500Rs,” said Sweers. “And we recently sold a quint 400R to the Performance East dealership in North Carolina.”
