Sea Tow Foundation Announces Call for Entries for 2023 National Boating Safety Awards
The Sea Tow Foundation invites participants to submit their entries for the 2023 National Boating Safety Awards, which recognizes efforts to promote boat safety within the for-profit sector of the marine industry. The application process is simple, and applicants can apply for various initiatives and categories, including two new categories added this year: Marine Trade Association and Community Boating/Boating Educational Programs.
“Our mission at the Sea Tow Foundation is to provide access to education, tools and resources to eliminate preventable recreational boating accidents,” says Gail R. Kulp, executive director of the Sea Tow Foundation. “The National Boating Safety Awards epitomize our ongoing commitment to fostering a safety-conscious boating culture by recognizing the remarkable achievements of businesses who make a profound impact on boating safety.”
Applications for boat safety efforts that took place between January 1, 2022 and June 1, 2023 are accepted through September 1, 2023. The awards will be presented on October 2 at the Soundings Trade Only event in Tampa, Florida, before the start of IBEX.
