For each event, the club designates a local benefitting charity. In 2023, the club raised more than $140,000 for charities at its fun/lunch run venues. Since it was formed in 2007, the club has raised more than $850,000 for Ontario charities.

An introductory piece in the club’s most recent newsletter explained the purposes of the outfit.

“Our mission is to promote safe and responsible performance boating,” the intro text read. “We achieve this through education, awarenes and organized boating events. But we don’t stop there. We’re committed to giving back to our local communities through charitable fundraising activities and unwavering support for the boating community.”
