Michigan DNR Partners with Traverse City Company for New, Fun State Parks Gear

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is teaming up with Traverse City merch company Great Lakes Proud to release a collection of official merchandise for Michigan’s state parks, trails and waterways, reports MLive. The collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, cozies, decals and stickers feature fun sayings and unique designs that reflect favorite Michigan places. Such as a “Root Beer Falls” Tahquamenon Falls T-shirt, “Peace, Love, Parks,” “S’more Michigan Please,” and other designs surrounding morel mushrooms, tree rings and more.
Great Lakes Proud will continue to create and curate lifestyle merchandise and sustainably sources apparel with new designs released throughout the year. The partnership is part of the “These Goods are Good for Michigan” program where partners who support state parks are recognized through a revenue sharing agreement.
