MasterCraft Launches Second Annual ‘Surf to Save Lives’ Campaign Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

MasterCraft will continue its successful partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with the launch of the second annual ‘Surf to Save Lives’ campaign. The campaign remains dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the lifesaving work of St. Jude by bringing together the boating community in support of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Boaters nationwide can participate in the campaign by logging their on-water activity from May 24 to Oct 1, 2024 through the MasterCraft Connect app. MasterCraft will donate $1 to St. Jude for every minute logged, up to a maximum of $75,000.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with St. Jude for a second year of Surf to Save Lives. This campaign is incredibly special as it unites the boating community in a worthy cause of raising funds and awareness to bring hope to families across the country,” says Krista Schipner, MasterCraft’s vice president of marketing. “As boaters hit the water this summer, we encourage them to download the app and log their time behind the boat doing their favorite activities and help us raise funds for St. Jude.”  

Last year — the campaign’s first — MasterCraft and the boating community achieved the maximum donation of $75,000 to St.Jude, and reaffirms its commitment this year to continue making an impact on the fight to cure childhood cancer.

Former professional wakeboarder and childhood cancer survivor Alexa Score returns as MasterCraft’s official spokesperson for the campaign. “As a survivor of childhood leukemia, I am deeply passionate about this cause,” says Score. “I am honored to join MasterCraft and St. Jude in their mission to support children battling cancer. We had a very successful campaign last year, and I hope even more people will join me this year by downloading the MasterCraft Connect app and getting out on the water to help us help St. Jude carry out its mission. Together, we can make a difference.”

In addition to the company’s contribution through the Surf to Save Lives campaign, MasterCraft employees can make a pledge to St. Jude through an Employee Giving Program.
