Mason Joins Performance Boat Center South
Opened in June 24, the new Performance Boat Center South facility has named performance marine industry veteran Tommy Mason general manager of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., location. Mason was on hand during the recent Miami International Boat Show and currently is representing the multi-brand dealership with the Performance Boat Center team at the Florida Powerboat Club Miami Boat Show Poker Run.

Mason most recently worked at Off The Hook Yachts Sales in South Florida.
“Brett called me and ask me I would be interested in helping sell all the bad-ass lines they carry, including their own Performance Powerboats lines, and I said ‘Yes’” Mason said.
Mason grew up in the industry. Also named Tom, his father owns the Powerplay Boats line of center consoles and once owned the popular Midnight Express center console line.
“I’ve known Tommy for 15 years,” said Brett Manire, who co-owns Performance Boat Center with Mark Waddington. “He acts like us, talks like us and walks like us. He’s a perfect for our culture.
