Coming to the Tampa Bay Convention Center September 27-29, the International Boat Builders Exhibition and Conference—or IBEX in marine industry parlance—provides a showcase for new products from an array of vendors. This year, Hardin Marine, one of the annual event’s most stalwart participants, plans to focus its display on wireless technology applications for marine industry components and systems.
Captured here during the 2022 Miami International Boat Show, the Hardin Marine exhibit at IBEX will be heavy on wireless technology-based products.
Though Hardin Marine is keeping product specifics under wraps until the show opens, company representative C.J. Rivera explained its most recent push into developing more wireless products for the powerboat world.
“At this year’s 2022 IBEX show we will debut a number of firsts in patented wireless innovations to the marine industry,” he said. “Our development team is focused on narrowing the gap between new marine electronics technology only available in brand new boats. We will bring this same technology and the ability to retrofit previous generations of boats with new technology in areas the industry hasn’t yet offered.”
Among Hardin Marine’s produce innovation was developing the first retrofit system for “cable-less” trim-tab monitoring for existing powerboats.
“That first innovation showed us an unlimited potential to add more reliable and easier to install systems to the marine industry,” said Rivera.
