Florida Powerboat Club/Speed On The Water Prepping For Third Miami Boat Show Bash
With Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats stepping up once again as the title sponsor, the Florida Powerboat Club/Speed On The Water Miami Boat Show Bash will return to the historic Sagamore Hotel in South Beach on Friday, February 14, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The third annual celebration, which falls on Valentine’s Day this year, is open to Florida Powerboat Club members and backers in good standing, as well as current speedonthewater.com advertisers and special guests.

The Sagamore pool area, where the celebration will be hosted, can accommodate up to 500 guests. Last year’s event reached capacity, yet the space never felt crowded.
In addition to Nor-Tech, Wozencraft Insurance Agency is returning as a sponsor. New this year as backers are Unique Custom Marine of Pompano Beach, Fla., which is owned operated by marine industry veteran David Delezenne and The Marine Group in Fort Lauderdale, which is headed by Statement Marine dealer Randy Sweers.
The Sagamore venue accommodates up to 500 guests.

For more than 10 years, the Florida Powerboat Club hosted a Friday night affair of its own during the Miami event as a warm-up for its Miami Boat Show Poker Run the following weekend. That tradition ended when the show moved to its Virginia Key location in 2016.
The show returned to its former Miami Convention Center headquarters in 2022. The following year, the Florida Powerboat Club teamed up with Speedonthewater.com, which produces daily news from the high-performance world, to resurrect the celebration at the famed Sagamore venue.
