Featured Boat—Maritimo 42 Raceboat

But if you’re in the market for a 42-foot, canopied raceboat that—with a power change to Mercury Racing 1100 Comp engines—would be ideal for Class 1 racing, the Team Australia II Maritimo raceboat is for sale.

According to the listing, the 42-footer is “the fastest Maritimo ever built” and reached 188.6 mph in the Sydney, Australia, Bridge To Bridge Race.
Though the listing did not include a horsepower rating, the E-glass and carbon fiber 42-footer’s engines reportedly were rebuilt in 2019 and have two operating hours since their updates. Additional components of the power packages include surface drives and SCX drop-boxes. The rudder-steered raceboat is equipped with fully hydraulic Maritimo steering.
Price is $480,000 Australian/$321,000 U.S. A triple-axle, full-tilt trailer with LED lighting, a 2005 Freightliner CST 120 hauler and more are included.
