For sale by Livorsi Marine founder Mike Livorsi, this well-kept and well-appointed Fountain Powerboats 38 Lightning has been a freshwater boat all of its life and was recently repowered with new 502-cubic-inch engines from Ateco Engines in Illinois.

According to Livorsi, the 2003/2021 38-footer is one of the best boats built with its twin-step design and semi-staggered engines, which are 502/871 blowers with 15 hours, a two-year full warranty remaining and can easily increase the horsepower with a pulley change. He added that it is fast and easy to dock with plenty of cockpit space and a full cabin, along with many upgrades.

Features on the 38 Lightning include upgraded bulletproof IMCO Marine SCX drives with 2-inch shortys (20 hours) with hydraulic and built-in drive showers, plus Mercury Maximus five-blade labbed props (15” X 30″ pitch), and upgraded carbon-fiber dash, Livorsi Marine Monster gauges, throttles and Carlotta steering wheel. The dash includes a Livorsi Data-Tach Prop-Slip gauge with a new Garmin 6-inch GPS, and the boat also has SeaDeck flooring, upgraded stereo system and speakers, stainless-steel sea strainers and plug-in charger, a Bimini top.

Sale price is $179,000 and includes a MYCO trailer with a side-mounted toolbox.
