Boyne Thunder Poker Run 2023—By The Numbers

With today’s Bay Harbor Lunch Run in the books, the welcome party for the 20th annual Boyne Thunder Poker Run is in full swing at Boyne Thunder Resort. Both the lunch trek and opening bash began organically as diversions before the main event in Northern Michigan.

Now, they are integral to the Boyne Thunder experience. The event wouldn’t be the same without them.

And though, as always, the numbers don’t even come close to telling the story, they’re pretty darn impressive.

Total fleet horsepower: 153,335
Average boat length: 35.5 feet
Average horsepower per boat: 1,280
Smallest boat: 24-foot Sunsation V-bottom
Largest boats: 52-foot MTI catamaran and 52-foot Outerlimits V-bottom.
