American Marine Performance To Debut New AMP 37 XPR Cat At Miami Boat Show

Hoping to build on the momentum created by its AMP 333 performance center console, American Marine Performance in Pompano Beach, Fla., is eager to debut its AMP 37 XPR, a 37-foot outboard-powered catamaran, at next week’s Miami International Boat Show. Powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 500R engines, the 37-footer is going to be on display at the in-water portion of the show—at Herald Plaza, Dock B-2—alongside an AMP 333 powered by a trio of Mercury Racing 400R engines.

The team at American Performance Marine is eager to showcase its new AMP 37 XPR catamaran at the Miami International Boat Show.

Constructed by AMP partner, Smart Performance Marine in Orlando, Fla., the AMP 37 XPR is likely to grab much of the spotlight, but the triple 400R-powered 33-footer is sure to hold its own. AMP owner Arthur Fusco, a respected Brazilian boatbuilder who started the company in 2019 after moving to Florida under the original name, Arth Boats, said he can’t wait to see how people react to the boats. He’s also looking forward to dialing both of them in after the show.

Since the rebranding effort, Fusco is reporting increased sales and demand for the boats, as well as the addition of eight dealers nationwide.

And he’s only expecting further growth as the company makes progress on its new AMP 433, a performance center console available with quad or quint Mercury Racing engine packages, and proves its catamaran is an incredible offering in terms of quality, safety and performance, not to mention an aggressive price point.

AMP recently received the molds for the new 43-footer and is planning to showcase the first one at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
