ABM Announces Summer Session of the Captain School

Looking to complete your Merchant Mariner Credentials this summer? The summer session of the Captain School at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, New York, is returning in July. The school offers the necessary courses to secure a captain’s license. Instructor Captain Tom Trovato will be offering the Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels during this session, and students will have the materials to apply for their Merchant Mariner Credential through the U.S. Coast Guard at the OUPV level after completion of the course — a credential necessary in order to legally carry passengers for hire.

Course dates and times are July 8-18 from 8-5pm (July 8-9, 12, 15-16) and 8-12pm (July 10-11, 13-14); Testing will take place July 17-18 th starting at 9am with no time limit in which to complete the four exams.
