OPERATION SEND IT! – JULY 15
Operation Send It was created to provide a unique, exciting experience for veterans and first responders to do some fishing and get their minds off some of the stressful events that created PTSD in their lives. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a common problem for those who have experienced difficult, traumatic events. Operation Send It is hosting a Dolphin Tournament, with weigh-in at Tiki 52 in Tequesta, Florida, on Saturday, July 15, that is aimed to bring some fun and excitement into the lives of these brave individuals. The event is sponsored by The Chill Room of West Palm Beach and run by Operation Send it. Entry fee is $500 and the grand prize is $5,000! Come support veterans and first responders in this very cool event!

43RD GREATER JACKSONVILLE KINGFISH TOURNAMENT – JULY 17-22
Benefiting the community through Jacksonville Marine Charities Inc., the Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament, held each year in July at Jim King Park & Boat Ramp on the ICW, is one of the largest kingfish tournaments in the Southeast. In addition to the General Tournament, this spectacular event also includes a Junior Angler Offshore Tournament presented by Summit Contracting Group, a food festival, live entertainment and much, much more. 2023 is sure to outdo past years with an incredible list of prizes, including a Contender 25T with twin Yamaha 150s as well as $253,000 in total prize payouts.

SARASOTA SLAM – AUG. 8-12
The Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association and Big Naasty Fishing are proud to present the 2023 Sarasota Slam at Marina Jack: Sarasota Bayfront. Over the years, this event has become one of Southwest Florida’s most popular tournaments. Based in an amazing location with a top-notch staff, through this series more than 500 anglers compete and reel in over $500,000 in cash prizes annually.
The tournament also reaches out to the community by supporting local organizations such as Homes for Our Troops, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Suncoast Foundation for the Handicapped Children and Camp Florida Fish Tales, just to name a few!

BLUEWATER MOVEMENTS – SALTWATER SHOWDOWN – AUG. 10-13
The Mercury/SeaVee Pompano Beach Saltwater Showdown is the bookend to the PBSC series and the last big tournament of the summer in South Florida. In addition to a cash purse of more than $100,000, teams prep for a strong finish at The Showdown in the chase after the circuit’s most prestigious award: The Showdown Crown. The Crown awards $2,500 and a custom set of championship rings to the top overall team in the series — a feat that is not easily obtained. The Showdown can also be a target event for cashing big in the signature KDW and Pick 3 jackpots! Grand prize drawings for great prize packages are up for grabs at The Showdown awards ceremony for teams that fish all three legs of the series.
