MasterCraft Boat Company, a subsidiary of MasterCraft Boat Holdings, Inc. and the world’s best-selling towboat brand for the past five years, has introduced the all-new XT25. The MasterCraft XT25 was completely redesigned from the hull up and offers industry-leading wakesurfing capabilities, increased ballast capacity, and class-leading comfort for up to 18 passengers.
In 2024, the redesigned XT25 will introduce two new features. The XT25 features an updated version of MasterCraft’s SurfStar system with built-in foiling characteristics for both left- and right-side riders. In addition, the XT25 is equipped with standard underwater exhaust, which reduces fumes and pollution inside and behind the boat, allowing riders and passengers to enjoy music and conversation even more.
“The XT25 adds yet another model to the world’s most robust towboat lineup, which offers a diverse range at varying price points – all without sacrificing the world-class performance, undeniable reliability, class-leading comfort, and innovative connectivity that’s synonymous with MasterCraft,” said Matt McDevitt, MasterCraft Vice President of Global Sales. “The XT25 also completes the XT family lineup, which is now available with models ranging from 20-feet to 25-feet. With more wave options, more comfort, more connectivity, and more performance and reliability than ever before, the XT25 is perfect for the families looking for more.”
MasterCraft’s SurfStar, the industry’s premier wake and wave system, takes center stage. This comprehensive, integrated system comprises ballast, proprietary software, hull shape, and wake-shaping devices with military-grade actuators and precise position sensors. Using the SurfStar system, the XT25 can fine-tune and customize the wave for any operator, delivering powerful and symmetrical waves for surfing and ideal wakes for wakeboarding. With a user-friendly interface, a variety of rider profiles, and presets, the XT25 can accommodate any riding style or talent level, from steep and barreling to long and smooth. The XT25’s ballast capacity has been increased to a total of 3,200 pounds to help it produce the best wave in its class. As a result, the XT25 offers enhanced performance straight off the assembly line.
The XT25 will be equipped with a standard Ilmor Marine 6.0L MPI engine with 380 horsepower and 407 lb-ft of torque. With the optional upgrade to the more potent 430 horsepower 6.2L GDI engine, riders can enjoy more time on the water with the most responsive, robust, and dependable engines in the industry. For those interested in salt water, the 5.3L GDI has an aluminum block with efficient close-cooling that generates 365 horsepower at higher RPMs for outstanding top-end performance. Moreover, Ilmor provides an unmatched seven-year, 1000-hour warranty.
The XT25 is constructed from premium materials and rigorously tested to satisfy MasterCraft’s exacting safety and quality standards. Utilizing the finest available materials in the construction process guarantees an unrivaled ride and drive, as well as the best possible on-water experience.
When a MasterCraft boat departs the factory, investments in dependability do not end. MasterCraft’s award-winning vendor network spans the nation and the globe in order to provide unmatched customer service. MasterCare, an industry-leading five-year, 500-hour comprehensive warranty with minimal exclusions, comes standard on every boat.
The XT25’s U-shaped seating area accommodates up to 18 passengers, providing ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy the journey. The XT25 is designed to optimize your comfort and enjoyment on the water with a larger cockpit, spacious bow with lounge space, and ample storage options. Passengers can take in all the action behind the boat with optional convertible seating.
CoolFeel vinyl is up to 30 percent cooler than standard marine vinyl, keeping families cool and comfortable even on the warmest days.
The XT25’s telematics enable remote access to the vessel’s vitals via the MasterCraft Connect app. This standard feature on the XT25 enables owners to access vital boat data, such as battery and fuel levels, bilge status, and engine health, via their mobile devices, while also alerting local dealers of service requirements. Digital switching is now incorporated into the MasterCraft Connect app for 2024, allowing boaters to turn the battery switch on or off while away from the vessel.

Additionally, the XT25 features four phone holders strategically located throughout the cockpit to protect phones throughout the day, and with upgraded wireless charging available, boaters can remain charged and connected throughout the day. Featuring crisp and defined sound quality from Klipsch audio, riders can enjoy music just as the recording engineer intended thanks to the XT25’s standard six-speaker advanced audio package.
A single screen setup is located behind the steering wheel, allowing the driver to fill ballast, select preferable wave settings, and control the music. There is also the option to upgrade to a dual-screen dashboard with tower camera for added convenience and functionality.
The XT25 is also available with three tower options: the Z6, Z8, and Z10. Each of the three tower options is the ideal combination of form and function and can be readily lowered or raised. Finally, store boards with ease using standard clamping board carriers. Combined with MasterCraft’s updated bimini board storage, the XT25 offers the industry’s most board storage. The XT25 has an optional swim step that lowers down effortlessly from the swim platform, allowing everyone on board to enter and exit the water with ease.
The MSRP of the XT25 will be $205,658. To ensure the most accurate price, customers are encouraged to contact their local MasterCraft dealer to discuss options, details, and rebates. To find out more, please visit MasterCraft.com.
