Truck Show To Benefit Lake Of The Ozarks Shootout Charities
Spy the owner of a high-dollar go-fast powerboat and it’s more than likely that person owns a cool truck to haul it. Of course, such trucks—regardless of color-matching or bling-level—have a designated purpose beyond looking great in the parking lot. The fancy boat-and-truck connection runs deep in the performance-boating community.
That’s why the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, which benefits local charities at the Central Missouri destination, is partnering with Shady Gator’s waterfront bar, Muscle Mania Fitness, Issa Square and Lakeside for Shady’s Showdown Truck Show May 30-31.
All proceeds from the two-day event will go to Shootout charities.
Though the fun starts Friday night with a “takeover” party at Shady Gators, the truck show starts Saturday at 11 a.m. Prior to the post-show bash at the venue that evening, awards will be presented in categories including Best of Show, Best RAM, Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Lowered and Best Lifted.
