The Monaco Yacht Show: A Sapphire Voyage into Yachting Excellence
The 33rd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is ready to captivate yachting enthusiasts and industry leaders alike from September 25 to 28 at Port Hercule in Monte Carlo. This prestigious event, renowned for its celebration of luxury, innovation, and the captivating Riviera lifestyle, promises to deliver an unparalleled spectacle of yachting grandeur.
At the heart of the Monaco Yacht Show is the exclusive Sapphire Experience, an initiative launched over eight years ago to enhance the show’s allure. The term Sapphire represents the deep blue of the sea and symbolizes the birthstone for September. Historically, sailors believed sapphires protected them from drowning, symbolizing wisdom and sound judgment—ideals that resonate with the ethos of this premium program. Designed specifically for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) with genuine yachting interests, the Sapphire Experience offers a bespoke range of services and exclusive amenities. Prospective participants are required to submit a detailed application outlining their yachting background, including previous charter experiences, yacht ownership, and current aspirations regarding charters, purchases, or new builds. Each application undergoes verification, including outreach to industry contacts, ensuring that only serious clients participate.
This year, the Monaco Yacht Show will showcase over 120 superyachts, epitomizing the finest in design and engineering. Among these vessels is Moskito, a 55-meter Heesen, co-exhibited with IYC. Moskito boasts a striking exterior designed by Omega and interiors crafted by Bannenberg & Rowell, embodying both sophistication and innovation. Located at Appontment Jules Soccal S3, Moskito is conveniently accessible from the Parvis Piscine entrance, offering Sapphire guests an exclusive opportunity to tour this highly successful charter yacht. With her 760GT of interior volume, Moskito strikes the perfect balance between size and luxury, making her an ideal vessel for Mediterranean adventures. Her compact dimensions enable access to the region’s charming ports, while her robust steel hull ensures a comfortable experience at sea. As a testament to our dedication to customization, our Project Agnetha is currently under construction at the Oss shipyard and available for sale. Slated for delivery in Q2 2025, this Dutch jewel features a revised profile and interior design by Luca Dini Design and Architecture. Will a Sapphire guest be the next fortunate owner of this bespoke vessel?
The Monaco Yacht Show is more than just a marketplace—it’s a testament to elegance, trust, and innovation. By fostering an environment where clients and exhibitors naturally align, the show offers a unique space for d yacht enthusiasts to connect seamlessly. UHNWIs, whether new to the world of yachting or with prior experiences, are encouraged to join us. Our priority is to ensure potential clients feel reassured and fully informed about the intricacies of the industry, empowering them to make confident decisions.
The opening day of the show is reserved for client interactions only, creating an intimate and focused atmosphere for meaningful connections. Running daily from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, the show invites all who attend to immerse themselves in the wonders of the yachting world.
As the sun dips below the horizon of the Riviera, the Monaco Yacht Show continues to shine as a beacon of inspiration and innovation. This prestigious event invites attendees to embark on a journey into the heart of yachting excellence, offering a one-of-a-kind experience that captures the imagination and embodies the spirit of the yachting lifestyle at its finest.
