Suzuki’s New Outboard for 2022: The DF250SS

The DF250SS V6 4-stroke outboard is the new flagship of Suzuki Marine’s “SS” Sport Series. Featuring fast acceleration and a powerful hole shot, the DR250SS is the first outboard in the SS Series that’s compatible with Suzuki’s Precision Control electronic shift and throttle system, which integrates with the Digital Pro-Pedal Foot Throttle for crisp, responsible shifting and smooth, quick acceleration.

Previewed at the 2022 Bassmaster Classic in Greenville, South Carolina, the new DR250SS promises to be a hit with performance-based boat owners. A new lower unit gear case with an asymmetrically designed keg provides improved performance and enhanced steering capability, while the new eye-catching design is offered in Suzuki’s matte black and new white.

The DR250SS with be displayed at the 2022 REDCREST in Tulsa, Oklahoma later in March, and is available in 20-inch and 25-inch shaft lengths. Along with the DR250SS, Suzuki is adding a new 115hp SS outboard to the series that’s ideal for smaller boats. The DF115SS provides high performance with a lighter weight.
