Super Stock Class Owners Committed But Not Limited To ‘Internal Schedule’
In January, the Super Stock-class owners group released its 2024 internal competition schedule. The six-race roster, as previously reported on speedonthewater.com, includes races produced by the Offshore Powerboat Association, Powerboat P1 and Race World Offshore. Though the Super Stock owners reposted that schedule today on their Facebook page, class representative Ryan Beckley reached out this afternoon to emphasize that Super Stock teams are not necessarily limiting themselves to that schedule.

“A bunch of guys are going to do a couple of other races—I think our class will be well-represented in St. Clair (Mich.) and Marathon (Fla.) but they will not be part of the internal schedule,” said Beckley, the longstanding representative for the class. “But as always, anyone in our class can race wherever they want.”
Beckley, for example, said he and teammate Tanner Lewis are hoping to compete in Marathon and St. Clair as well as the events on the owner-voted schedule.
“Tanner is driving most of the races,” he said. “I have a feeling the seat will be available for a few.”

• May 17-19—Cocoa Beach, Fla. (P1)
• May-31 June 1—Lake Ozark, Mo. (P1)
• August 2-4—Michigan City, Ind. (OPA)
• August 9-11—Sheboygan, Wis. (P1)
• September 13-15—Sarasota, Fla. (P1)
• September 27-29—Clearwater, Fla. (RWO)
Powerboat P1 and Race World Offshore are member-organizations of the American Power Boat Association, which means their races are part of the APBA Offshore National Championship Series. The overwhelming majority of Super Stock teams also plan to compete in the Race World Offshore Key West World Championship set for November 3-10.
