Super Cat Team Owners Release Updated/Final 2024 Competition Schedule

By all accounts from within the Super Cat team-owner ranks, it’s been a challenging and often contentious pre-season in terms of finalizing the regular-season schedule. That drama officially came to an end this Wednesday when the team owners voted and approved the following roster of Powerboat P1– and Race World Offshore-produced races:

• April 27-28—Marathon, Fla.
• May 17-19—Cocoa Beach, Fla.
• May 31-June 1—Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.
• June 7-9—Ocean City, Md.
• August 9-11—Sheboygan, Wis.
• September 13-15—Sarasota, Fla.
• September 21-22—Clearwater, Fla.
• October 18-20—St. Petersburg, Fla.

All races are sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association. While there are eight races on the 2024 APBA Offshore National Championship Series schedule, Super Cat teams will be able to drop their worst two results. The Super Cat owners received APBA permission to use the drop-race format yesterday.

All Super Cat team owners also have committed to compete in the Race World Offshore Key West World Championships set for November 3-10.
