Heading into its third year under the leadership of organizers Dave Johnson and Alvin Heathman, Super Cat Fest West will once again raise money for children’s charities in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. In 2024, the event raised more than $300,000 for those causes. No one, not even the ambitious Johnson and Heathman, expected that level of fundraising success. Everyone involved was delighted.

But thanks the performance-boat-loving Carver family behind the R.J. Noble Company, Super Cat Fest 2025 may well beat last year’s record. The remarkable benefactor has committed to match up to $200,000 raised during the April 10-13 event.
“Honestly It’s so huge I was completely taken back by it,” Johnson admitted. “I’m not one for getting emotional over things, but when they told me my eyes watered. And it was a little hard to finish the conversation with the giant lump in my throat.
This is third collaboration between Dave Johnson, the founder of the River Daves Place online community and Lake of the Ozarks-based Super Cat Fest head Alvin Heathman.
Registration for Super Cat Fest West is open. The event will once again be based out of the Havasu Riviera Marina.
“Austin Carver is bringing his MTI-V 50 center console to Super Cat Fest West this year,” said Johnston. “It is one of several boats that will come from South Florida and then be hauled back to Miami for an event.”
The Havasu Riviera Marina will once again be headquarters for Super Cat Fest West.
