Second Mystic Bahamas Trek On Track For Success
With more than a month to go before the fleet departs from Palm Beach Shores, Fla., the second-year Mystic Powerboats Owners Run to the Bahamas is on track to eclipse the inaugural event, which saw 11 Mystic models—one M5200 center console, six M4200 center consoles, three M3800 center consoles and one C4000 catamaran—make the trip. In fact, the first-year record has already fallen, at least when it comes to registration for the May 9-12 event.

“Right now, we have 15 boats signed up for the Bahamas,” said John Cosker, the owner and founder of the DeLand, Fla., company, who just returned from exhibiting last weekend at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
Last year’s Mystic run to the Bahamas attracted owners from California, Florida, Maine, Missouri and more. For participants interested in extending their adventure this time around, the company is offering an Abacos exploration segment—May 13-15—following the primary Bahamas adventure.
Last year’s Bahamas run was a true bonding experience for the Mystic family of owners.
The last time Mystic owners got together as a group was in early December, 2023, for the company’s Demo Day and Rendezvous at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. The Southwest Florida event attracted 21 boat and 100 participants, and the upcoming Bahamas run was a popular topic.
“I’m looking forward to going back to the Bahamas with our Mystic family,” said Cosker, during the December happening in Cape Coral. “They’re just such a mellow, easy-going and fun-loving group of owners.
With the event more than a month away, interested already has surpassed that of last year.
