Rocky Top Power Run To Benefit Three Charities

Organizer Matt Rogers has picked three beneficiaries for the Rocky Top Power Run this summer on Tennessee’s Norris Lake. Heading into its third year, the August 7-8 event attracted 130-plus boats in 2024.

“I think we’ve chosen three great charities to serve this year,” Rogers said. “We’re all very excited about them.”

Founded by performance boat enthusiast and offshore racer Alex Pratt, the Good Boy Foundation—the charitable arm of Pratt’s Good Boy Vodka and ready-to-drink cocktail brand—will receive a portion of the proceeds generated by the event’s live auction, 50/50 raffle and extra cards purchased.

The Good Boy Foundation is dedicated to helping “canines and humans” who served in the military, according to its website, hence its “Every pour helps a pup” brand-slogan.

At the local animal-welfare level, a portion of the proceeds from will go to the Campbell County Animal Shelter.

The event’s third beneficiary will be the Care Camp Foundation, a national nonprofit organization that “funds medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across the United States and Canada,” according to its website.
