Reel⭐Time USA Kid’s Challenge: Who can catch & release the most fish points in 3 hours

Species: All freshwater Bass & Panfish are eligible.

Points system: Each Bass 8 points, Each Panfish 2 points 3 age groups: (13-17) (7-12) & (6 and under).

Prizes:

1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each group wins:

Tackle Box filled with Tackle & lots of Gift Cards

Entry Fee: (Parent/Guardian must register each child.)

• $20 per Child.
• $25 for 2 Children (Siblings only).
• $30 for 3 Children (Siblings only).
• $40 10r 4 or more Children

Rules & Regulations

Revised 9.20.23

1. Parent/Guardian must sign up each child & pay all entry fee(s).
2. Each child (with parents/guardian approval) chooses 1 out of 3 available days (October 7,8 or 9) to fish 3 consecutive hours
   between 7am-6pm. (Your time zone)
3. 3 age groups for kids: 17-13, 12-7 and 6 & under.
4. All Freshwater Bass & Panfish species will be eligible
5. Winners are determined by the total amount of fish points each child catches and releases in their time slot.
   Fish Points: Bass: 8 points each, Panfish: 2 points each.
6. You don’t have to fish entire 3 hours
7. Parent or Guardian may assist in tying knots, tackle, baiting & casting. Only 1 fishing rod in water per child.
8. You may fish anywhere in the USA except any bodies of water that have been cultivated for bass: for example, pay to fish lakes.
   Federal or state stocked bodies of water open to the public are permitted.

IMPORTANT: The following steps are required after you sign up and before you compete for your day of fishing:

1. Download & Print the Validation card or buy that day of fishing newspaper. Take a selfie photo with card or that day’s newspaper.
2. Fill out Pre-Fish form (on-line) BEFORE YOU FISH
3. Take selfie photo of every fish you catch with validation card or newspaper before releasing.
4. After your 3 hours of fishing is completed and before 9pm (your time zone) you must fill out ‘Catch Report”(on-line) and submit all photos

Gift Prizes awarded to each age groups:
1st place: Tackle box filled with tackle & gift cards: $400 value.
2nd place: Tackle box filled with tackle & gift cards. $300 value.
3rd place: Tackle box filled with tackle & gift cards: $200 value.

October 7th, 8th or 9th, 2023

Kid’s pick 3 hours to compete in 1 out of 3 available fishing days.
