Powerboat P1 Launching Class 1 VIP Hospitality Experience

Starting with the May 17-19 season-opener for the 2024 Class 1 World Championships in Cocoa Beach, Fla., Powerboat 1—the producer/promoter of the five-race Union Internationale Motonautique-sanctioned series—will offer an upscale hospitality package for offshore racing fans. The new package is called the “Class 1 Experience” and it boasts posh beach-front hospitality areas with unobstructed views of the action at every race.

Fans who opt for the Class 1, all-access four-day premium pass will have VIP access to the welcome party at each event, a private tour of the dry pits, exclusive entry to the P1 tent on race days, a “meet-and-greet” with the race teams and “sumptuous dining and outstanding service levels,” according to a press release from Powerboat P1. VIP parking passes and front-row seating at the post-race awards ceremony also are included.

All hospitality spaces will offer beverages from Class 1 backers Monster Energy and Good Boy Vodka.

Though the Class 1 Experience is the highest level of Powerboat P1’s hospitality offerings, it is a part of an overall effort by the London-based organization to upgrade its entire hospitality program.

Beach-front hospitality areas with unobstructed views of the racing action at every race are part of the Class 1 VIP hospitality experience.

“Our aim is to deliver unique hospitality offerings at multiple levels and we have taken a holistic approach that includes ticketing, guest relations, event management, marketing and on-site support,” explained Thomas Covington, the commercial director for Powerboat P1, in the release. “Sports hospitality is not only for business, it is also ideal for individuals who want more than just attending an event,” added Covington. “It should be a valued bonding experience for friends, family and business contacts alike to share a personalized, elevated experience they’ll never forget.

“Our approach will position the guest as king with a seamless booking process, outstanding hospitality and thrilling sporting entertainment,” he added.
