Performance Boat Center Rendezvous For Cigarette Owners Heading Into Year No. 9
Though Performance Boat Center hasn’t been a Cigarette Racing Team dealer for a year-and-a-half, the weekend-long Cigarette owners event produced by the Osage Beach, Mo.-headquartered, multi-brand dealership is as strong as it’s ever been. Sign-ups currently stand at 85 boats and registration is still open for this weekend’s ninth annual happening.

“We will have 100 boats as usual,” said Brett Manire, who co-owns Performance Boat Center with Mark Waddington. “It should be another great event—one for the books.”
A record-setting 119 boats were registered for the 2022 event.
This year’s festivities start Thursday with check-in and on-site registration, followed by a welcome party at the Redhead Lakeside Grill tiki bar. Friday’s fun run departs Performance Boat Center after the mandatory drivers meeting in the dealership’s showroom. The fleet is scheduled to make two stops, one from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Coconuts Caribbean Beach Bar and Grill and another at Dog Days Bar and Grill from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. After the run, Performance Boat Center is hosting a pool party from 6 p.m. till midnight at the Redhead location.
Departing at 11 a.m., the fleet will head to The Cave, a relatively new Waddington-owned waterfront restaurant and bar complete with swimming pools and extensive dockage, for lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The collection of Cigarette models at the annual event is breathtaking.
“This will be the first rendezvous for Cigarette owners heading to The Cave,” said Manire.
For those who need a bit more time on the water, a raft-up is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Linn Creek Cove. A dinner celebration, complete with live entertainment and a fireworks display, will begin at 6 p.m. in the Performance Boat Center showroom.
And for folks who want to “rehydrate,” a meet-up at the Bear Bottom Resort is set for Sunday.
