‘Over The Top’ 44-Foot Statement Center Console In Production
The second Statement Marine 44 GTrs center console is out of the mold and Randy Sweers, who partnered with Statement owner Nick Buis on the new model as well as a new 39-foot catamaran, and the South Florida-based Sweers is ecstatic about it. The 44-footer is being produced at a facility Sweers set up in Brazil, where all Statement 44 GTrs center consoles and 396 catamarans will be built.
The hull for the second Statement 44 GTrs center console it out of the mold.
“This one will be over the top,” said Sweers. “It will be powered by quint Mercury Racing 500R outboard engines. It’s going to have an insane Rockford Fosgate stereo system and a full Alcantara interior, a Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilization system and a full array of Garmin electronics.
“And let’s not forget the Starlight headliner,” he added.
The 44-footer is being built for Jim Stroud of Fort Lauderdale, a previous Sweers client who also owns a Pershing yacht.
Sweers also reported that the first Statement 396 catamaran hull has been pulled from the mold. “That’s also going to be an exciting build,” he said.
