Outerlimits SC 37 Catamaran No. 7 Going To Legacy Client
The newest addition to the Outerlimits Offshore Powerboats line, the SC 37 catamaran has been a hit with longtime supporters of the brand such Vinnie Diorio and Jeremy Tschida. The Mercury Racing 450R outboard engine-powered, all carbon-fiber 37-footer was introduced in August 2021, and hull No. 7 is headed for Canadian Benji Mastronardi, the younger brother of Chris Mastronardi.

A familiar name in the high-performance powerboating community, Chris Mastronardi is a multi-time Outerlimits buyer. The new SC 37 will be his brother’s first build from the Bristol, R.I., builder.
“It’s wonderful to have another Mastronardi in the Outerlimits family,” said Dan Kleitz, the company’s national sales manager.

Stephen Miles of Stephen Miles Design handled the new cat’s paintjob at his shop in Owensboro, Ky., and Ryan Schwarzen of Kutting Edge Interiors of O’Fallon, Mo., took care of its primarily Alcantara-finished interior in the six-seat cockpit. Additional features include “the largest JL Audio stereo system we offer,” according to Kleitz, a 22-inch Garmin GPS unit, color-matched SeaDek flooring and anodized hardware.
Outerlimits installed the 450-hp supercharged engines on brackets from Florida-based Shaun Torrente Racing. The owner also ordered the boat with a custom trailer from MYCO Trailers in Bradenton, Fla.
“These boats run awesome to run—they handle amazing,” Kleitz said. “I know Chris is going to enjoy his SC 37.”
The new 37-footer will soon be headed to its home in Canada.
