Outer Reef announces its new Adventure 780. This Dutch-built beauty will be an eight-guest, four or five cabin (depending on whether you go for the full-beam master) explorer who’ll boast a tough steel hull and superstructure. Out back, she’ll offer a swim platform with a substantial upper sunbathing platform and bar space. Power for her “fast displacement” hull will come from a pair of Cummins QSB 425-hp engines that will push her to 12 knots with an 11 knot cruise. With twin spade rudders and a fin stabilizer system, she should be highly efficient and able to take you up to 3,000nm between fill-ups, should you get the long-distance craving.
