Nor-Tech To Unveil ‘Concept’ Model In Miami

High-performance center consoles are the foundation of Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats, which is why Fort Myers, Fla., company is bringing a pair of 400 Sport models—one for the Miami Convention Center and one for an in-water display—to the 2024 Miami International Boat Show. But Nor-Tech also plans to display something new in the convention center, a “concept model” that is “not a center console, “ according to chief operating officer Henrik Margård.

“That’s all I can tell you about it for now,” said Margård. “I don’t want to spoil the surprise.”

On the less-than-surprising but ever-appreciated side of its Miami Boat Show plans, the company is hosting its annual celebration in its display on Wednesday evening. The event, which begins shortly at the show closes at 6 p.m., is open to Nor-Tech clients, vendors and special guests.

The party is one of two involving the brand during Miami Boat Show. On Friday, February 16, the Florida Powerboat Club and Speed On The Water will host the second-year Miami Boat Show Bash at the Sagamore, and Nor-Tech has signed on as the presenting sponsor along with support sponsor GSX/Glasstream Boats and backers Statement Marine, Waves And Wheels and Wozencraft Marine Insurance.

Proceeds from the Friday night party, which will be gathered through an upcoming GoFundMe campaign, will go to the Miami Kiwanis Youth Foundation.
