Nor-Tech To Host Fine-Dining Experience In Rigging Shop – Speed on the Water

Home to its rigging operations, the Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats facility in Cape Coral, Fla., will be transformed into an upscale restaurant of sorts on Friday, January 19, when the high-performance center console company hosts a dinner to benefit Children’s Charities of Southwest Florida. The Nor-Tech event is part of the annual weekend-long Southwest Florida Wine and Food Festival.

The Nor-Tech crew and its representatives have always known their way around fine excellent wine.

The dinner will pair the wines of AXR Napa Valley and Gamble Family Vineyards with dishes created by Black Salt Culinary, which also is based in Cape Coral.

“Nor-Tech is committed to contributing to its community, so when we got the request to be a sponsor for the Southwest Florida Wine and Food Festival we immediately said yes,” said Henrik Margård, Nor-Tech’s chief operating officer. “This effort falls in line with our philanthropic vision – Investing in our youth and putting children first.

“Black Salt Culinary is one of our favorite local catering companies,” he continued. “We will have a live DJ playing music and hope to create a fun and festive atmosphere while raising money for Golisano Children’s Hospital.”

The event is limited to 75 participants. To date, 55 charitable wine-and-food lovers have registered.

Said Margård, “There’s still space for those who want to join in the fun. We would love to see you there.”
