NMMA Celebrates 2022 STEP Ahead Honorees

In a celebration of Women’s History Month, NMMA is honoring four female marine manufacturing recipients of the STEP Ahead Awards. Acknowledging female leaders in science, technology, engineering and production, the STEP Awards honor women who have demonstrated excellenge and leadership in careers across the manufacturing industry.

On April 28, the Manufacturing Institute will recognize 130 recipients of the award, four of them honorees within the recreational boating industry: Allison Lemasters, Director of Continous Improvement for Malibu Boats, has dedicated her impressive career to making manufacturing more efficient, accurate and safe. Nicole McDonals, Senior Director of Operations at the Brunswick Corporation, is a trusted mentor within the company and advocate for emerging female talent in the industry. Brenna Preisser, Executive Vice President and President, Business Acceleration at the Brunswick Corporation, has proven a transformative leader for cultural change within the industry; and Wendy Scholler, Ergonomics Specialist at Mercury Marine, has helped to identify and address barriers to women in the workplace. 

NMMA salutes these women honored for their impressive achievements in the marine manufacturing and recreational boating industry, as they continue to champion for women and advance the marine industry.
