Nimbus Group to Launch Aquador Boats in the U.S.

Nimbus Group will introduce its Finnish brand Aquador to the North American market in January 2024 in a collaborative launch with PowerTime Boat Club, who specialize in shared usage of recreational boats as well as traditional retail operations.

The launch comes after Aquador launched a new generation of boats last year in the brand’s most extensive product renewal in 20 years, with the brand showing strong potential for growth in the U.S. market. Aquador’s new range of boats has been well received in Europe, with the new  Aquador 300 HT named as a finalist for British boating magazine Motorboat & Yachting’s Motor Boat of the Year Award 2024.

“The partnership with PowerTime is a perfect fit, allowing members to experience the luxury and performance of Aquador boats, while simultaneously providing Aquador with a swift and extensive market entry across significant regions of the USA,” says Michael Bohm, CMO of Nimbus Group. 

PowerTime will extend the Aquador offering to include 10 plus locations across eight states, and will offer models to retail buyers as well as selling Aquador boats into the PowerTime fleet for shared usage.

In addition to introducing Aquador models to the U.S., Nimbus Group will start local production of the Nimbus boat brand in North America starting in February 2024. The boats will be produced in EdgeWater Power Boats’ existing production facility in Edgewater, Florida.
