Niagara Residents Have Free Admission to Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum Throughout February
If you’re a Niagara resident, you have the opportunity to explore the Niagara-on-the-Lake museum throughout the month of February at no cost. The “Free February” campaign offers locals a chance to explore the area’s long and varied history through a series of permanent and temporary exhibitions, including the temporary “All Along the Waterfront” exhibit which looks at the importance of water and its relationship with humanity, reports The Brock Report.
Other exhibits include permanent ones detailing 9,000 years of NOTL’s past, including a series of interesting artifacts, and also two new student exhibits: “A History of Cycling,” and “Through All Eyes,” a timeline of Indigenous culture in Niagara.
In addition to its collection of interesting exhibits, the museum offers free virtual lectures from February 1 – March 8 every Wednesday via Zoom that you may register for in advance.
