New Marquette Pier Offers Glass Block Views Into Lake Superior

A new pier installed along the Ore Dock at Marquette, Michigan’s Lower Harbor located along Lakeshore Drive offers visitors a new experience of Lake Superior. Glass blocks inserted into the pier allow viewers to catch a glimpse of Lake Superior’s rolling waters underneath, reports WRKR.
The Ore Dock has long been a focal point offering trail systems and a park, and the new pier is another attraction to the spot, gaining excited reactions after its installation. Visitors are invited to stroll the pier and gaze down at the wonders of the Great Lakes below their feet as they admire the majesty of Lake Superior.
