Getting the lead out is precisely what Moomba has done with the new 22-foot CRAZ model.

You won’t need extra weight bags to throw a surf wave, thanks to a built-in 4,500-pound ballast that makes long pockets with respectable clean lips.

Designed and priced to attract those newer to wakeboarding and surfing, you won’ t go hungry when it comes to power and technology. Moomba uses the potent Raptor by Indmar, an engine cranking 410-hp and best-in-class torque where you need it most, between 2500 and 3500 RPMs. That sweet spot of 11.2 or 11.3 mph for surfing requires reliability. Indmar uses dual spark plugs to deliver maximum low-RPM torque with class-leading fuel efficiency and low emissions. And the engine is surprisingly quiet, all the better to hear the richness of the music from nine Wet Sounds speakers, including the new Revolution Series.

Moomba’s 7-inch color touchscreen display offers one-touch toggling between home, control, AutoWake and Navigation display views. If you are new to AutoWake, this is a must-have. Set up profiles for each user, and the computer figures out where the weight should be shifted to optimize the wake. Moomba’s Flow Surf system responds accordingly, and this just about eliminates that throttle-adjusting game nearly every new skipper goes through.

CRAZ is not only easy on the eyes, but it’s also easy on the feet. Standard non-skid flooring called Gator Step provides extra cushion, traction and years of durability. Premium board racks, including the Roswell Triton II featuring new R-Flex suspension technology, preserve your board investment.

With a 70-gallon fuel tank, your riders will wear out before you run out of fuel. And when it’s time to go home, a simple touch of the home leveling feature lets the boat adapt to rough water conditions with ease and provides a smooth and stable ride back to the dock or ramp.
