Miami International Boat Show Offering Mobile App

At least when you’re inside the Miami Convention Center, this is one tried-and-true method for finding the exhibit you came to see during the annual Miami International Boat Show. Look toward the ceiling and you’ll usually find a banner or flag above the particular powerboat or engine display you want explore.

Or you can just open the app—after you download it of course—for the February 12-16 event. This year’s show boasts six locations. So the “just look up” method that often works in the convention center won’t get you where you want to be beyond its cavernous confines.

According to a press release from the show producer, the app will enable visitors to:

• Explore the exhibitor list by show location and tag favorites.
• Apply filters to find new or brokerage boats.
• Sort through an extensive selection of products and services.
• Use maps to find exhibits and easily navigate all show locations.
• Customize agendas by selecting exhibitors to visit or seminars to attend.
• Receive notifications—if activated—to receive real-time updates.
