Lake Of The Ozarks Shootout ‘Experience’ Package Going On The Block In Kuttawa
Participants at the eighth annual Kuttawa Cannonball Run, set for May 31-June 1 in Kuttawa, Ky., will have an experience to bid on at the Saturday night auction. A complete 2024 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout package will be among the items on the auction block.

The package for the Central Missouri event includes a table at the Tuesday night Bob Morgan Memorial Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Hall of Fame induction and dinner celebration, registration in the Shootout On The Strip exhibition and celebration on Thursday evening, registration for Friday’s poker run and registration in the top-speed shootout itself on Saturday and Sunday.
Dockage at Captain Ron’s Bar and Grill—Lake of the Ozarks Shootout headquarters—and official event hats and T-shirts are included.

The Shootout experience auction packages the hall of fame dinner, street party, poker run entry and top-speed contest—and more.
“We are excited to support the charitable poker runs that make a significant impact in their community,” said Leah Martin, the executive director of the August 20-25 event at the famed Missouri waterway. “Jeff Hoefling and his fellow organizers support the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and we are happy to be able to give a little bit back, too.”
To sweeten the deal, speedonthewater.com is adding a $200 gift certificate to Baxter’s Lakeside Grill to the Shootout package.
“Baxter’s has great food and maybe the best view of the lake at sunset,” said Jason Johnson, the co-publisher of speedonthewater.com. “No Shootout experience is complete without a dinner there.”
There is already significant crossover between fans of the Missouri and Kentucky events.
Hoefling said he and fellow organizers Terry Martin and Stephen Miles are humbled by the contribution to Kuttawa event auction, which raises money for charities in Lyon County, Ky.
“Leah called me and asked what they could do,” explained Hoefling. “Then I get an email with that auction package.
“This is rock-star event package,” he added. “Pretty awesome of them.”
As he has for the Kuttawa event added an auction, Nolan Ferris (front) will lead the Kuttawa Cannonball Run auctioneer.
