Kuttawa Cannonball Run Online Registration At 100-Plus Boats—And Closing Soon
With the Kuttawa Cannonball Run three weekends away, registration for the Kentucky-based event stands at 105 boats. It is the largest early May turnout so far in the eight-history of the run, which is set for May 31-June 1.

Online registration closes Friday, May 24. On-site registration will be open Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. the event tent in the Kuttawa Harbor parking lot.
“It takes almost a week for our staff to put together all the gift bags for the captains,” explained Jeff Hoefling. “We need to get on it as soon as online registration shuts down.
“So hurry up and register,” he added, then laughed. “We need to go boating, too.”
Among the returning participants already registered is Alabama’s Mike Goldbaugh, who ran his LATE FEE$ X3 Skater 388 catamaran—build No. 4 in the Pure Platinum Skater series—yesterday with his wife, Angela, in the Performance Boat Center Spring Fun Run. Their friend Mark Godsey of Tennessee will join the couple for the event, which includes a Friday lunch-run ahead of Saturday’s main event, in the 38-footer.
“It’s a great event,” said Goldbaugh. “We have a lot of friends coming and we’re really looking forward to it.”
