KICKER Returning To Support Super Cat Fest West And Desert Storm

When it comes to organized go-fast boating events, spring is the time to be in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. The fun begins April 10-13 with Super Cat Fest West based out of Havasu Riviera Marina and resumes April 24-26 with the Desert Storm Poker Run. And KICKER Marine Audio, which introduced its latest product line during the Miami International Boat Show International Boat Show in February, is returning as a leading backer for both happenings.

For Super Cat Fest West, the Stillwater, Okla.-based audio component company will join DCB Performance Marine as a presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year. In addition to providing support for the event, KICKER has donated $5,000 worth of equipment for the Saturday night auction benefitting local charities serving children in Lake Havasu City. A four-by-four off-road vehicle to be auctioned off that evening also is decked out with KICKER sound system.

Last year, the auction raised more than $300,000 for its beneficiaries.

“I have to thank KICKER Marine Audio and DCB,” said Dave Johnson, who co-organizes the event with Missouri-based Super Cat Fest founder Alvin Heathman, in a press release from the company. “These guys took a chance on us in our first-year event and saw that we were serious and successful. We are very proud that they have continued as title sponsors in 2025.”

KICKER Marine Audio has been the presenting sponsor for the venerable Anderson Powersports Desert Storm event for the past eight years. The company will once again showcase its mobile KICKER XRV display and “Boom room” during the Thursday Desert Storm Street Party in downtown Lake Havasu City.
